Neighbourhood

The family house is in a very quiet area. The special advantage is that the motorway is nearby and you can reach your destinations quickly. Excursion destinations around Schauenburg and Bad Wilhelmshöhe, near the documenta city of Kassel! In the middle of nature and surrounded by a basalt landscape. Between fairytale castles and ruins. With so many beautiful excursion destinations and sights in the area around Schauenburg and Bad Wilhelmshöhe, you won't get bored. Whether you prefer hiking or biking, the best attractions are just waiting for you - or the whole family - to discover them. All shops for daily needs are within walking distance in a few minutes. For example Wilhelmshöhe Castle, the UNESCO World Heritage Bergpark Wilhelmshöhe with the imposing trick fountains, the landmark Hercules, the Neptune Basin or the Löwenburg (approx. 10 minutes by car). And don't forget that you are in about 20 minutes by car in the documenta city of Kassel. Optimal connection to the A44, A7 and A 49. You can reach the city center of Kassel in approx. 20 minutes by public transport. Super public transport connection. The bus stop can be reached on foot in a few meters.

Transport

The vacation rental can be reached by public transportation, close to Wilhelmshöhe train station. Otherwise, the highway is just around the corner.
